We&#8217;ve also played many a private party &#8211; birthdays, dinners, BBQs, fundraisers, harvest parties, and Winter Holiday parties all over the Bay Area and a bit beyond, including San Francisco, Oakland, Belmont, Guerneville and more. (We have a nice set of Holiday music that we incorporate in with some of our regular repertoire for a mix of music that people always appreciate). <strong>Call, text or email us, (707) 888-4524, lark@lark.net so we can come play for you too<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guerneville Art Walk, Guerneville &#8211; 1st Saturday of the month &#8211; ever since they started several years ago. They keep asking us back to do a couple of outdoor shows each year and we keep saying yes; always some fun people and a good time. Sept. 6 2025 we played acoustically, our sound guy was happy ;-).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Osher Marin JCC, San Rafael &#8211; played for their weekly Happy Hour. A great time for all ages &#8211; kids, teens, parents, grandparents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MCARE Picnic, Novato &#8211; Fun people, wonderful BBQ picnic and a great time. (We love it when the feed the band too!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PorchFest San Rafael &#8211; So fun playing for LOTS of people at this now crazy-popular yearly event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marin Lutheran Church 75th Anniversary Party &#8211; Jim and his lovely wife invited the Larkdales to help them celebrate their 75th anniversary. We had some attendees join us; one of whom played the spoons (spoons!) and was excellent!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Karah Estate Vineyards, Cotati &#8211; Played a couple of times there before they were sold; next time we&#8217;re bringing an  Aeolian wind harp to add some texture to our music for the wind. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spicy Vines Winery, Healdsburg &#8211; These guys make some really good wine and are so fun.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>P.S. &#8211; We are actively looking for winery gigs! Call or text or email: (707) 888-4524, lark@lark.net<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Farmers Markets &#8211; We&#8217;ve played for several of them, including the Marin Country Mart, Larkspur; The Petaluma Farmers Market; Sebastopol Farmers Market; Kensington Farmers Market and the Downtown San Rafael Market (sadly not happening anymore).  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occidental Center for the Arts &#8211; We loved playing there with some other Sonoma County acts; beautiful acoustics, great sound, lovely people. Working on getting there again soon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Russian River Chamber Holiday Party &#8211; The crowd had a great time and got rowdier as the evening went on so we did too!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nazz Coffee House, Novato &#8211; Warm, wonderful folks came to this event. Really great to play for them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ounces Outdoors, Terra Linda &#8211; Nice crowd who particularly liked our pirate songs, who knew? We&#8217;ve played there a couple of times now.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Way Station, Fairfax &#8211; Great crowd and some of our favorite Marin friends, what&#8217;s not to like?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Folkish Festival, Marin Country Mart, Larkspur &#8211; This was a fun Sunday afternoon several-month festival that the Marin Country Mart put on after the Farmers&#8217; Market closed to encourage people to have a bite to eat and stay awhile &#8211; which they did.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aqus Cafe, Petaluma &#8211; before Covid struck, we played at the Aqus several times. They kinda sorta gave us our start and are near and dear to our hearts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stringband Competition, Berkeley Old Time Music Festival, Berkeley &#8211; Definitely acoustic! One of the prizes was &#8220;best bribe to the judges&#8221;. Wouldn&#8217;t you know it, the year we played they didn&#8217;t have that competition! However, the following year, they &#8220;backdated&#8221; the award and we got first prize! Ask us about it the next time you see us (if we say so ourselves, it was fun and a good story!).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Harmony Sweepstakes 2017, San Francisco &#8211; The Larkdales started out as an a cappella trio, and then then decided to add in guitar and bass. For this show we did a couple of beautiful a cappella songs, and then brought the house down with &#8220;I Can See Your Aura&#8221; by Marley&#8217;s Ghost.
